The questions owners actually ask

These are the plain answers to the objections we hear most: whether it will sound like a robot, what happens when it does not know something, and what you can do if it is not right. Each answer stands on its own.

Will it sound like a robot?

It is an AI, and it says so at the start of every call, so we will not claim it is indistinguishable from a person. It is built to talk plainly and to answer from your business's own services, hours, prices and policies instead of reading a rigid script. You can read every call, so you can judge how it sounds for your callers.

Do callers know they are talking to an AI?

Yes. Callers are told they are speaking with an AI assistant on every call, and that disclosure cannot be switched off.

What happens when it does not know something?

The Human Element receptionist does not guess. When it cannot handle a question or request, it takes a full message with the caller's details, or hands the call off, so a person can follow up with the right answer.

Can it book appointments?

It takes appointment requests, including the service wanted, a preferred time and the caller's details, and passes them to your team. Whether it can book straight into a particular calendar or booking system depends on your setup, so if that matters to you, talk to us before you buy.

What if it says something wrong?

The receptionist answers from the services, hours, prices and policies we built it from, and it does not guess beyond them. Because every call is recorded and readable, you can spot a wrong answer, tell us, and we correct what it was built from.

Can I hear the calls?

Every call is recorded, and you can read what happened on every one. Nothing the receptionist does on your behalf is hidden from you.

What happens when I am already on the phone?

It does not matter to the caller. The receptionist answers every call, so a customer does not reach a busy signal or a voicemail box because you or your staff are on another line.

How fast can I start?

After you sign up, we build the receptionist from your services, hours, prices and policies. We do not promise a number of days on this page; ask us when you contact us and we will tell you plainly.

What if I hate it?

Read your calls, tell us what is wrong, and we change the script and the knowledge it works from. The terms for cancelling and any refund will be set out in the sign-up terms before you pay anything, and you can ask us about them first.

How much does it cost?

Plans are priced per business location. Starter is $149 a month, Professional is $299 a month, and Human Element is $649 a month. Multi-location is quoted after we look at your business.

What happens if I go over my included minutes?

Each plan includes a number of minutes: 250 on Starter, 700 on Professional and 1,200 on Human Element. Minutes beyond that are charged per minute at $0.65 on Starter, $0.55 on Professional and $0.45 on Human Element. The receptionist keeps answering.

Is there a setup fee?

Starter and Professional each have a one-time setup fee of $249. Setup is included in the Human Element plan, and the setup fee is waived on annual billing.

What does annual billing mean?

On annual billing you pay for 12 months and get 13 months of service, and the setup fee is waived. For example, Professional on annual billing is $3,588 for the year.

Which plan should I choose?

If you run a single location, Professional is the plan most single-location businesses should buy. Starter, from $149 a month, suits a quieter line. Choose Human Element if you want a live person on hand during business hours, and ask us about Multi-location if you have more than one site.

What is the live human backup?

The Human Element plan includes live human backup during business hours, so a real person is on hand behind the AI. Starter and Professional do not include it.

Can it pass a call to me or my team?

Handing off is one of the two things the receptionist does when it cannot handle a call itself; the other is taking a full message. How a hand-off works depends on your call flow, so talk to us if you need a specific arrangement.

What if I have more than one location?

Multi-location is a quote, not a price, because it depends on how many locations you have and what each needs. Contact us and we will look at your business before quoting. Custom integrations and unusual call flows are handled the same way.

Does it work for a business like mine?

Human Element serves salons and spas, HVAC and plumbing, auto repair, property management, legal intake and restaurants, and the receptionist is built from your own business details whatever you do. See the industries page for how calls are handled in each.

Do you serve healthcare businesses?

No. We do not serve healthcare businesses today.

Who runs Human Element?

Human Element is a product of Quote Masters, and the people behind it are the reason the AI is not left on its own. If you want to talk to one of them, the contact page is the way.
